 (I'm writing this news post in English for the benefit of our many English-speaking customers)
Dear customers,
As of the 1st of December, the Freetime Warrior store will close down. The reasons are many, but primarily, I (Paul da boss) have decided to move abroad to Finland, to be closer to my friends, and to start a new adventure.
In addition, with the dollar and the strength of buying on the internet, it has become very hard for small businesses to compete in the specialised markets, and gaming stores require a good deal of investment, and a hell of a lot of energy to grow communities and to keep them running.
So, it is with no small amount of sadness that I am writing this to inform you all that we will soon be shutting our doors and closing down.
But now is your chance to pick up all those things you wanted but were saving up for, because until the 1st of December, we will be holding a closing down sale:
40% DISCOUNT ON ALL PRODUCTS IN THE STORE, EXCEPT FOR MAGIC!!
(Magic the Gathering boosters will remain 3 for 10 euros, and we will be giving special little discounts on other Magic-related items)
It has been a pleasure and a great experience getting to know you as customers and many as friends, and while it is a great shame that Leiden doesn't really have a proper gaming location, I'm hopeful people will still find a way to get together and game.

Beste klanten,
Heelaas in de loop van deze week probeerde een hacker onze servers aan te vallen. De technique die wordt gebruikt voor dit aanval kan veel schade veroorzaken. Daarvoor hebben wij natuurlijk back-ups, maar het is nog mogelijk dat stukjes van onze data beschadigt zijn. Op dit moment blijkt er een slachtoffer te zijn: bestellingen die geplaatst worden via onze winkel (niet via de online store).
Dus, als u deze of vorige maand en bestelling bij ons heeft gedaan, dan willen wij graag van u horen. Wij zijn momenteel nog bezig met het uitzoeken of de data echt beschadigt is, maar dan kan nog een paar dagen duren. Dus graag aan ons een e-mail versturen met uw gewenste producten (info@freetimewarrior.com). Dan kunnen wij wat sneller aan de slaag met uw bestelling.
